With less than a week to go before the fire engines, fireboys and firegirls come to the rescue… Qc Productions is heating up with exhilaration for the 5FM Fireman’s Ball - an exclusive Flexbender event – the Gay Pride 2007 after party. An explosion of style, light, video and top-end production will hit Partyhouse at The Dome in Johannesburg on Saturday 6 October, before cruising to FTV Café in Cape Town on 13 October.
“With the help of our generous sponsors 5FM and Flexbender, Fireman’s Ball is taking us to the next level with an event that is going to blow all expectations! But, this is only the beginning… Plans have just been concluded for a weekly Qc club night and various exciting end of year-surprises including Qc ‘lifestyle options' explains Qc’s Pieter Rossouw.
Says Sipho Mdluli, Flexbender Marketing Manager: “The 5FM Fireman's Ball is an exclusive Flexbender event and signals the biggest single sponsorship of a gay community event to date. The gay audience played a very big role in the development of the Flexbender brand and we are proud of supporting this year's Pride afterparty by giving something back to the community. Flexbender is a sexy version of classic Bourbon with a twist of Citrus. It has given birth to many exciting cocktails such as our LV and Wedgie shooters (enjoy as a cold shooter with slice of orange and sugar)... Look out for these and many more surprises waiting to be discovered at the special Flexbender bars being created for the parties.”
The 5FM Fireman’s Ball is one of the many exciting and groundbreaking party solutions that Qc Productions has in line for the future. Qc has earned a respected reputation for their upmarket & uberstylish monthly parties in Jhb – which also premiered to great success in CT recently. Now, the response to these fabulous events has prompted the launch of the Q Club.
Q Club promises to deliver a weekly dose of exclusive Qc glamour & style every Saturday from 3November. The open-minded, adventurous clubber looking for a little bit more than your mediocre, run-of-the-mill clubbing options out there - will now have no excuse for a quality, discerning night out every week.
Apart from expanding its horizons in terms of a weekly club night, Qc is also committed to serving and creating a more fun, stylish & interactive gay party scene. It’s not only about the party experience, but also about holistic lifestyle entertainment options. Plans are in progress for a Qc train adventure to MCQP, as well as a massive New Year’s party in CT.
